How do invest that much time,effort ,dedication and money in something and then just quit? I never understood this anomaly in our gaming community.

People stop playing certain games when it stops being fun. Additionally, I only have a certain amount of time for hobby interests and that was greatly reduced when my daughter came to live with me full time.
