thinking of holding a castle siege game

Thinking about doing a castle seige game with 2 addition ago siege rules. Put a castle alonge a 6ft or 8 ft back with towers every foot and a gate in the midle. try to get 2 or 3 people a side so we field like 8k a side it would be an all day thing but I think it would be fun with siege towers, ropes and boiling oil and all. Maybe even put the castle in the midle of the board so that itr defends all 4 sides with renforcments coming in for the defender at a random side. Hell maybe some roaming gaints and all or trolls smelling the blood.

I never played the old castle siege, but it always looked Awesome.

2nd edition rules, or the old 5th ed ones?

I have 5th ed ones on PDF, and would love to play those.

I am not sure what addition it is but it is third rule book back counting the one that is out now it is paper back. I need to scan the pages and post them they looked really thought out.

IIRC they are 6th edition Siege rules.
