Recording the creation of my 4th Warhammer Fantasy Battle Army.

The BTown trader was very lax on his care of these models. They arrived with heavy casualties, but they also included MANY extra models that he was not even aware of. Extra repair work for free models is a fair trade off IMO.

I spent a good week going through the various bags, doing inventory, matching broken bits, etc.

I segregated out what I want to keep and what is extra. I completed full unit repairs on some heros, 36 dryads, 24 wardancers, 20 glade guard, 10 glade scouts, and 10 waywatchers. I started paint work on 2 treemen and I had partial assmbly complete on several cav units when I ran out of glue.

I worked on some painting some of my Heros who will lead my Wood Elf forces. I picked up a set of washes from Joel and I think I'm getting the hang of it. I was pretty happy with the results.

She looks a bit darker in the pic.

This is that strange conversion I told you guys about. Looked too cool not to use! I used my usual mount them on rocks look.

It's a horse of a different color!

Damn Bill, you are like a machine gun of painting ! how the heck you find time between work-family-kids-home-sports to paint this much is beyond me !

The Dryad looks pretty damn awsone, the flamer on the 6 legged mule never seen before looks cool.

I acquired some sweet Enigma Dryad Princess models to use as Treekin, but they are bigger than the current GW model. This created a new requirement to 'beef up' my OOP treemen to look larger in comparison.

Those treemen look pretty damn cool, are those Dragonflies part of the model or you added them ? they add a nice touch.

The dragonflys were in the WE bits bag I received. I think they come with the glade guard or rider sprue.

I'm really starting to get the hang of using the washes.

This will be the center piece of my woodelf list.

the one with the pumpkin head is actually kinda hot, for a pumpkin headed tree girl.

Nice and thin, the way I like 'em.

Of course like 'em nice round, hell just pull your dress up and so long as I don't see dick and balls, I am on it.
