Confederat Musketeers

Hey guys! How's this for a new skaven unit:

Confederat Musketeers: 8pts

WS:3
BS:3
S:3
T:3
I:4
A:1
W:1
Ld:5

Equipment:Skaven Musket,hand weapon

Options:

Standard Bearer for +10pts

Confederat Sharpshooter for+5pts (unit champ)

Drummer for+5pts(musician)

Light armor for+1pt per model

Sharpshooter may purchase Confederat revolver for +5pts or Confederat shotgun for +10pts.

May upgrade unit to Confederat bushwackers for +2pts per model(become skirmishers and replace musket w/ Confederat pistol and hand weapon)

Special weapons

Skaven Muskets: Handguns with the Skaven "reliable" rule

Confederat pistols: pistols with the Skaven "reliable" rule

Confederat revolver: Confederat pistol with 3 shots

Confederat shotgun: Confederat pistol with str 5

Special rules

Rebel squeek:Whenever a unit of Confederats charge they let out a Rebel Squeek that drives them on and makes them more ferocious.+1 initiative for the duration of a combat where they have charged)

I'm thinking of using the jezzail models(Just the gunner models,not the shield rat)for these guys and adding bayonets to them. I would also mix in some other models converted to look like they're marching to add some more diversity.

What do you guys think?

Well... at toughness 4... they better be more than 6 points.

oh scratch that I didn't see that the numbers didn't match up to the stats.. uh.. yeah.. looks good.

How about the musket thing in the hands, sorry paw, of a scout? Isn't that seemingly much for 6 pts? Curious, does the Empire have handgun scouts? Shocked

Just out of curiosity...will the +1 I last more then the turn they charge? If not, then doesn't seem to do much for them, if they do, then it's great (unless this is a variant for 40K, in which case, disregard). The unit looks interesting.

If you roll two 1's in a row, the gun blows up. On the first one it does not fire...if you roll a 1, you need to roll another immediately after for something bad to happen to you.

The upgrade to the bushwackers is a little low on this...giving a model 3 shots instead of one and making them skirmished for just 2 points seems a bit low. Then again, at 8" you'd have to get very close...at least you didn't give them scout. Best thing to do is try it out...I'm always game for something new and fun...

3 shots??!! Shocked They replace their musket w/ a pistol, not a revolver.
