Who would win(have a better chance of) a Dark Apostle (old codex)with Demon str and mutation, furious charge,accursed crozius and Plasma pistol charging a termie squad or the termies in hand to hand.

Wolfguard terminators with 3 assault cannons would rape yoru dark apostle and sent him ass bleeding back to the warp.

shit, missed the hand to hand part, i still think that an assault squad termi squad could take this guy out, with lighting claws and thunder hammer+shield.

5 man Tzeentch terminator squad: all champions with 3x power weapons and 2x powerfist.
4+ inv with 9x PW attacks and 6x PF attacks.

OR

4 man wolf guard terminator squad, with 1 wolfguard battle leader all with power weapons and battle leader with frostblade, hit on 3+ talisman and iron halo: thats some serious hurt.... right there with the battle leader we got 5 str 5 attacks that hit on 3+ regardless.... and a bunch more powerfist and PW attacks...

Whats the point spread on all this shit anyways! LOL gotta figgure out of any of this is effective.

Dark Apostle owns, dont get me wrong... but imagine him toe to toe with a regular old Librarian Epistolary with Viel of Time and an Iron halo... librarian for less that 140 points has 5 force weapon attacks, rerolls everything including his 4+ inv save.....

Tooled out DA cant really fuck with that....

i think the Apostle could be a sorcerer as well.

They better release a codex for the undivided legions as well......the word bearers alone warrant it.

Even with Demonic Upgrades he's Toughness 4 for the purposes of Instant Kill.

Let's say you got five terminators...

Apostle gets 6 attacks at strength 6. He hits on 3, Wounds on 2. Let's say thats 4 hits, 3 wounds. 1 saved....

So there are 3 Termies left. at 2 attacks each. 6 attacks hitting on 4's , so that's 3 hits. Wounding on 2's, let's say he takes 2 wounds.

Law of average says he takes a wound, which means...

POWNED.

Demonic Rune prevents instant death.. it's a 35 point item, but if you take the Dark Apostle as a Lord, he can certainly afford it.
