Which Imperial Space Marine Chapter would you want to see featured in a 40k movie?

The Title says it all..

If I left one out, pick other and write it in.

I chose Dark Angels. Although I like Space Wolves a little better, I think they might look a bit silly on the silver screen.

Dark Angels are by far the most cinematic - they have the gothic factor cranked to 11, and have the most color diversity within its ranks (easier to differentiate who's who when one is in black, one is bone white, and one in green). Plus, Sammael on his Jetbike would be awesome.

I picked the Space Wolves. I think the Wulfgar Blackmane Story would fit perfectly into a cinematic format. His transformation from the mundane norse culture he knew and loved to becoming one of the living gods. I highly recommend that series if you enjoy space marine novels.

Have to go with Dark Angels for the reasons mentioned above. Plus, they are the first/oldest chapter, so should be honored above all others with a movie!

I chose Dark Angels as well... although I could assume, just like everything GW puts out, they would want to appeal to "everyone" and would probably use the Ultramarines for their foray into Hollywood. Unless they were following a specific story that's been created already like Bloodquest. or something like that.

Bah! Ultramarines are BOOOORRRRRIIIINNNNGGGG!!! Which means GW would probably go with it...I mean...just look at what they've done with Chaos lately...uber powerful, but far less colorful then they were before.

I would like to see the Dark Angels, but the Blood Ravens would probably be the most likely. They would have less worry about messing up any continuity in fluff.

The first Dawn of War had/introduced (sort of) the Blood Ravens, didn't it? Based on that, I would have to agree with you.

IF they would make a movie, it would prob be using Blood Ravens, since they are the one most people who dont play Harhammer are familiar with from the DoW games.

By the way, if they get the guy that wrote "descent of Angels" to write a Dark Angels movie, GW will certainly fall into ruin. That Book blew serious donkey dick.

Of course the best scenario would be a full on - cgi smorgasborg with graphics like the one from the beginning of Mark of Chaos.
