New GW Spray Gun Tutorial
Not sure this has been covered, but GW just put up a new video on some tricks when using their new spray gun. Never used one myself, but some guys in my old gaming group did so and won bronze at GD Baltimore a year ago. Worked pretty well on Tanks and other large models from their experience.
Spray Gun Tutorial Video from GW
More of a how to, then a real tricks video, but interesting nonetheless...

It says you can use Citadel paints...you just have to water them down a bit...at least that's what the video was showing...A "real air/spray gun" with it's own line of paints designed for it, is probably a better bet, though.

Re: New GW Spray Gun Tutorial
yeah.. but this one only costs like 25 bucks ? A real air brush is a lot more... although I'm not sure if you're talking about an " airbrush"
In WD Max, it specifically says you can use it with not just citadel, but also with foundation paints. Who cares ? I'm getting it with the money I won from the tournament

Re: New GW Spray Gun Tutorial
It's not a real airbrush
It can't be used to paint you models. Only base coat.
IDK if you can adjust the level of spray, Runs on Air canisters, when GW stops Producing them your going to be SOL.

How to use a Bayonet
1. Affix bayonet to mounting lug.
2. Charge enemy, keep bayonet between yourself and target.
3. Plunge bayonet into enemy's belly in an upward motion, aiming for vital organs and avoiding ribcage.
4. Repeat as necessary.

BTW... I looked in the most recent white dwarf and it's says the spray gun (not Bill's, but GW's ) is listed at 30 bucks.
Not bad for a tool that you might be able to use to paint horde armies. Like if you're painting orks you can just do a straight green on them, and then just spray all of them with a green wash... pretty cool.

Not sure if you guys heard...

GW recall Hand Flamer Spray Gun
Games Workshop Canada has sent a notice to retailers that they are recalling their Hand Flamer Spray Gun. No word if this extends to all GW locations but one has to assume that it will.
From their announcement:
As most of you are aware, we had our scheduled release for our spray gun for Saturday June 21st 2008. Unfortunately Games Workshop has decided to recall all spray guns that have been manufactured to date. As we are all aware, quality and customer service dominate GW business. And due to this diligence we have just discovered a quality defect in the spray guns.
The defect does not make the product dangerous, but since we cannot be 100% confident in the quality of this product we have decided that the best course of action is to remove the spray gun from distribution until we can correct the problem.
Games Workshop is deeply sorry for any inconveniences that this may cause you and your customers. …
Again, we are deeply sorry and we will work through the issue to deliver the spray gun as soon as it meets Games Workshop’s high standards.”
