Sam looking at the metal bases and stands. Which sizes correspond to fantasy sizes? I'm a little bit confused.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

The 3/4" and 20mm square are the small rank and file bases (for High Elves, Empire, Goblins (all on foot), and other like size bases), the 1" square are for 25mm, though are about 1 mm too large for the base, so will not fit into normal 100mm bases (the GW ones). The 1"X2" are for calvary, but suffer the same issues as the 1" square. You can go smaller, i.e., 20mm/3/4" square for 25mm bases, but then have creative on how you attach the metal base. If you go a little smaller on the calvary bases, your model might be prone to tilting a little...you can also by smaller strips and put them together to make a connection around the edge. I'll be happy to show you on Sunday if you're at the Square.
