Name : Endre Enyedy
Job : Computer Programmer
Location : Kendall
First Started Wargaming in : Back in the mid-90s I got the 2nd ed set as a christmas present. Man, I played the hell out of that thing. Unfortunately had no money to get into the hobby proper - at most my friends and would buy a codex to share and we'd proxy (hooray for so many marine varients). Lets just say that 3x5 index cards made passable bikes, and larger ones made rhinos. Stopped playing for years (although I did play the ocassional game of Battletech or an Avalon Hill game here or there), once I graduated college and had an income I jumped back into 4th edition. Man did everything change in the interim!
Current Wargames I'm playing : Warhammer 40k
Armies I own : Small inquisitorial IG contingent with some Last Chancers (playable), currently on the painting queue: 40k - Inquisition army (WH), full Imperial Guard; Fantasy - Empire, Wood Elves; BFG - Imperial Fleet (small 1000 pts or so); Warmachine - Khador; Hordes - Legion of Everblight (just the warpack); FoW - Late War British 7th Armored Divison (Desert Rats in Europe!)
Other Hobbies : Video Games, RPGs, Board Games, reading, writing...I get bored easily.

Some of you may remember me playing at Joel's about a year and a half ago with a decently painted Witch Hunters army. Since then I learned that I actually liked painting so I sold off that army (since I hadn't painted it myself) and kept the IG contingent to play with, then got a Dark Eldar army, started painting the, realized I don't really like their fluff and models, sold them, and went back to my first love, the Inquisition. Yes, all the armies above I actually have the armies just sitting around, most of them waiting to be assembled and painted, which is hard with this whole "real life" business in the way (I salute all of you with fully done armies! That's REALLY damn impressive!)

Never played Fantasy, FoW, BFG, or WM, but want to.

I joined this forum as a way to A) Motivate myself to get stuff painted, B) meet people into the hobby, and C) hopefully some day know enough people to try some of the cooler parts of the game, e.g. campaigns, themed battles, etc. Yes, give me objectives, missions, and interesting tactical scenarios over same old "lets have our guys fight, grr!"

Besides, for the last year I've been playing almost exclusively this one buddy of mine and his necrons. I miss the variety of different opponents!

So yes. Hello all.
