90 bucks for 2 people? Shieeet......Go to Whale harbor inn in key largo, all you can eat seafood, etc....for 30 bucks a person. Or Texas de brazil for 30 bucks all you can eat steak..

Besides...it's really about 115 bucks with tip for 2 people...I don't need to be seen at ruth's chris because it's a high end restaurant....although I have heard it's great food.

If thats a good price Lou...I could use a loan.

i'll give u a loan buddy, but the interest is a bit high and you wouldnt want some big santero cuban showing up to your house with a bat asking where the money is "please refer to the family guy episode where brian owed stewie money for a graphical representation"

Hey, it's cheaper than Morton's (which I don't think they have down here), and it's pretty good...a once a year kinda thing for annivesary celebration or her birthday or some other such!

Or you could go to the biltmore for 185 for 2 and the food wasnt that good. And that was the italian place. The french resturant they have is even more! ( just kidding the food wasnt that good either)

Or go to the redfish grill off matheson hammocks park and you get a fixed price menu for 30 bucks a person.

There you go...Morton's is in Brickell...you should have known it was going to be mega-expensive...

I'm partial to the Rusty Pelican on the Rickenbacker causeway -- not too expensive, can sit outside and watch the sun set behind Miami and they make a pretty decent mojito.

There's also a very romantic place (for you guys wanting to really treat your wives) on Coconut Grove Isle...can't remember the name. The food is good (not great, but good), but the wifey will love the setting.

Hey, ive been to my share of La Carretas, Latin Americas and Versalles Smile El toro taco in homestead is pretty damn good mexican food ! funny thing is, no mexicans eat there ! bunch of gringos all the time!

I read about that place in the grove Sam, looked pretty damn nice. Keep an eye out for a thing called
"MIami Spice" it starts on august and runs thrugh september i think, is pretty much a special menu on a bunch of very good restaurants and is almost half price, and the selection is pretty good.

Miami Spice is going to be cool. Definately something to keep an eye out for.

Red Fish Grill is a great place for a romantic dinner in the evening. Food is OK, nothing to write home about, but it is OK.

Rusty Pelican is a great place for the view, however, the food is mediocre.

If you want some really decent, but expensive food try either Smith & Wollenska on South Beach or the Forge right of the Arthur Godfrey highway in mid North Miami Beach.

If you like Vietnamese food you should try Hyvong. It's 1 block east of La Carreta in Coral Gables. I believe southwest 8th street and douglas road area. It's a hole in the wall restaurant. You don't go there for the service or if you are in a hurry. There is usually a waiting line as well. They have a good selection of imported beers which I'm sure many of you will find enticing. The food is superb. It is mid range price and worth every penny of it.

Man....Miami seems like a dead zone in terms of food....no good diners...No more mom and pop places worth a crap. Another reason miami sucks the big one. Before I am refuted....realize I am speaking of CASUAL dining....not Mortan's or the Forge, or Houston's, etc...I am talking about good everyday places to go....My dad saw this city slowly die in terms of good food being born in Miami...Also, before I am corrected, I must admit that if you are Latin, you have a veritable treasure trove of Latin restaurants to choose from, some very good....but, other ethnic restaurants are either crappy or if they are good, they are very rare.
