How to use a Bayonet
1. Affix bayonet to mounting lug.
2. Charge enemy, keep bayonet between yourself and target.
3. Plunge bayonet into enemy's belly in an upward motion, aiming for vital organs and avoiding ribcage.
4. Repeat as necessary.

I think you have enough cool stuff in your army that costs a lot of points to be able to invest on allies ... lead belchers are nasty, but they have a tendency to kill themselves with their guns

Perhaps some Iron guts. They're pretty tough.

Just remember, as they've been redoing the books, they've been making a point to not include "Merc" options. Older books can still use them, but several books that have been redone don't allow for mercs and in the most recent FAQs, they've stated that unless the Army Book specifically lists mercs as an option, you can't take them.

I wonder if they are going to errata this at some point. Especially since they really pressed the point about Ogres being mercenaries frequently in other lands.
The empire book, vampire Counts book, and High elves book, all are missing a Dogs of War entry

From what I understand, armies that are specified in the rules for Giants on the GW website can take Giants still.

The same goes for the Regiments of Renown (RoR) units, but not regular DoW units, into which category the Ogres would be classified.
